‘SUGAR REMEDY DIABETES CHALLENGE’ IN JAIPUR

 

Sugar Remedy‘s ‘Diabetes Challenge’ got a huge response from people. On 8 December 2012, the campaign was scheduled at Hotel ‘Sweet Dreams’ Jaipur. Managing Director of Umalaxmi Organics Mr. Jitesh Dave, National Ayurvedic Council’s former Head of Department Mr. Jitendra Bhargava, President of Rajasthan Chemist Association Mr. R.B Puri, Secretary of Rajasthan Chemist Association Mr. Amrish Kaushik, owner of Kaushik Distributors Mr. O.P.  Kaushik and Sugar Remedy’s Regional Sales Manager Mr. Dileep Saxena were among the ones present there along with many other renowned names.

More than 200 diabetic people became a part of the campaign. Sugar Remedy provided them with free Blood Sugar check up. Not

only this, but the doctors from Sugar Remedy team suggested each of them how they can control their diabetes.

Managing Director of Umalaxmi Organics Mr. Jitesh Dave on this occasion said, “Working for diabetic people is like doing something for your own family. As promised we are back with our free check up camp. And are overwhelmed by the response we get in Jaipur every time. We will keep conducting such camps. Sugar Remedy’s prime and ultimate motive is to make India diabetes free. ‘’

National Ayurvedic Council’s former Head of Department Mr. Jitendra Bhargava also spoke on this event. He thanked Sugar Remedy for this cause. set up along with this launch. Screening tests included height, weight, waist measurement, body mass index, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar checks.

Mr. Purushottam Rupala who himself is a diabetic, focused on the urgent need of controlling diabetes in Gujarat as it has the most number of diabetic people when compared to other parts of India. He participated in the presentation and addressed the attendees and thanked Sugar Remedy for organizing the screening camp along with the launch: “I appreciate the sincere efforts made by Sugar Remedy. Lets us all determine to control diabetes in our state and support Sugar Remedy in its noble cause.”

According to latest figures of the World Diabetes Foundation, the number of people with diabetes in India is expected to go up to 80 million by the year 2030 from the present figure of 32 million.
